Let me and my friend MaryIL (http://maryil.tumblr.com/) present to you our JKMM-OC.
There is an original character – heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen. His human name – Eugen Reinicke, in a honour of his latest captain Hans-Jürgen Reinicke.
Prinz Eugen is an adjutant of Bismarck. They both participated in „Rheinübung“ Operation.
He’s older than Walter. A long time ago Eugen was an educator of young Bismarck. He was taught strategy and tactics and some another things.
Others call Eugen “Mr. Iceberg.” He is very low-key, calm, always speaks softly and slowly. In fact, Prinz Eugen is very patient, but if his anger, he can kill.
His weapon is saber. Although, Eugen prefers to use his mind, not a weapon. He likes to intrigue and stay in the shadow of his commander. So Bismarck and others called him “gray cardinal” and “puppet master.” And Walter understands that the main Eugen’s puppet - he is.
Eugen looks like a true German. He has blue eyes, blond hair, strong character.
The only one he loves and respects - is his disciple and commander Bismarck.
He likes sweets, especially cakes. He hates Ulrich, Japanese battleships and to be touched outsiders. Eugen likes to work with documents and make tea for Bismarck.

А мы ведь его уже достаточно давно придумали, уже с полгода как, хотя мне кажется, что даже больше.

I just realized that I didn’t included thoughts on family relations in JKMM.
Easiest thing is with tanks and planes. Slightly changed and upgraded design of previous plane/tank is definitely younger sibling. The more changes, and not as, many changes between plane A and plane D but more like gradual changes between planes A, B, C and D, would be probably still siblings. Same manufacturer but completely new design, either cousin or kid. When it would be kid? When it’s design is somehow based on older plane and uses similar solutions. Pretty much same for tanks, though it’s hard with Soviet Tanks, because seriously if you change turret it’s not new tank. Oh, there’s also that mix designs thing too, result of that is only kid.
I think I wrote everything I wanted on ships family relations. They have it more complicated, because there’s practically no parent-child relations, beside few cases. Saying that some ship class is parent for other class would be troublesome. There’s often 4 or 5 ships (large ships) in class, and sometimes there’s even more (smaller ships like corvettes). Though job to point who exactly is parent, unless there’s info that specific ship’s design was used for basing. In cases of 2 ships in class it’s easier, just assuming who’s is who’s parent.
I really have too much free time.
So suddenly out of blue I remembered I read on female pilots during WWII, which greatly helped me to set right personality for my JKMM characters. Then I felt strong urge to read on other military services and roles of women in them.
Since there are female designs (and my head canon says no to girl versions of ships because it doesn’t make much sense when one ship is portrayed as male and female) and my own OCs , I immediately had formed head canons. No particular order, well maybe just a tiny bit influenced by obvious women’s contribution in military.
Guys, guys. Midnight Navy Livejournal updated.
This is hilarious.
I laughed out loud at Tomcat.
There’s more pics in the entry. But oh my gosh.
